Our first stop at Hangzhou is Qianjiang Century Park, then we slowly made our way to City Balcony to check out the night show! The entire city will lit up with beautiful displays showcasing the cities culture and history, it's definitely a unforgettable sight!
Day 2: Buddhist Temples + Westlake
Hangzhou has so much to offer, yet our time there was limited! Hence, we decided to mix both temple & westlake into a day. But that means we had to wake up before 6AM!!! We arrived Beigaofeng before 8am, which made the journey much more peaceful and less crowd. We finished exploring 3 main temples before going to our next destination: Westlake! We managed to get a boat ride, which lasted for 2 hours (300rmb). Finally, our last stop at Wulin Night Market, which is also in Westlake area.
Day 3: Hangzhou Citywalk!
The places in Hangzhou are so worth the citywalk! Main attractions are mostly clustered together like our final day itinerary in Hangzhou. We walked around Nansongyujie, Hefangjie and Dajingxiang before catching a night high-speed rail to Suzhou!
Day 4: First Impression of Suzhou
Suzhou offers unique ancient cities you must visit in China! First we tried famous Suzhou noodles & desserts, then walked along Pingjiang Road, we also got a little shopping activity in Shizi Street, then experience the beautiful Qilishantang at night!
Day 5: Suzhou High-Speed Rail to Shanghai
We took an early train to Shanghai, only 30 mins travel time! Checked-in to our hotel and started exploring Shanghai! This day included a stop at the North Bund and taking an unusual path through Ferry, all the way to the Oriental Pearl tower! We also finally got to check out a hidden-gem tucked away in Pudong Art Museum, perfect for seight-seeing lovers. At night, we visited Lujiazui (Shanghai's CBD) !
Day 6: Shanghai Must Visit Destinations
The weather started off with a little rain and a casual 9-degree gale warning (yellow), not to bad... But nothing can stop us for these must-visit Shanghai destinations! This city is so walkable, you can get to most places just by a short walk or MRT transfer! We ended up visiting all these in a day: Shanghai Postal Museum, Shanghai Heroes Memorial, The Bund, Nanjing Pedestrian Road, People's Square & Yu Garden.
Day 7: Second time in Shanghai Disneyland
Every time we're in Shanghai, we just can't help ourselves! RM2xx-3xx per person for Disneyland? Sign me up, it's not everyday you get to be in a city that has Disneyland! Trust me, it's worth it every trip! Journey from our hotel took around 1 hours 45 mins, we left after watching the fireworks at 9.15pm!
