Why We Went to Shanghai Disneyland
Shanghai Disneyland (上海迪士尼乐园) was one of the highlights of our 8D7N trip. It’s the first Disney park in mainland China, famous for its massive Enchanted Storybook Castle, the TRON Lightcycle roller coaster, and unique attractions you won’t find in other Disney parks.
We dedicated our entire Day 7 to this magical place — and it was totally worth it.

🎆 Nighttime Fireworks & Castle Show — magical way to end the day.
Food at Shanghai Disneyland
Food inside the park was pricier, but we tried a few spots:
🍴 Mickey & Pals Market Café — simple and family-friendly.
🍗 Street Snacks: Turkey legs, popcorn buckets, and themed desserts scattered across the park.💡 Tip: Bring light snacks to save money and queue time.
Our Tips for Shanghai Disneyland
Arrive Early: Head straight to popular rides like TRON or Pirates.
Disney Premier Access: Worth it on peak days to skip lines.
Dress for Weather: Shanghai can be windy and cold — bring layers.
Stay Late: The nighttime castle fireworks show is unmissable.
Our Vlog Experience
This was easily one of the most exciting days of our entire trip. From the adrenaline of TRON, to the immersive world of Pirates of the Caribbean, to ending with the castle fireworks, Shanghai Disneyland felt larger-than-life.
It’s not just for kids — we had just as much fun running around as adults, soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying the magic.
