There are days when travelling is all about seeing something famous. A palace, a mountain, or even a theme park. But then there are days when the plan is simply: Let’s just walk around Seoul.

A Journey Through Neighbourhoods

Today, we started our adventure in Seongsu-dong. This area is known for its creative vibe, filled with unique cafes and art spaces. As we strolled through the streets, I couldn’t help but feel the energy of the city. It’s amazing how each neighbourhood has its own character.

Next, we made our way to the Starfield Library. This place is a must-see! With its towering bookshelves and stunning architecture, it’s a haven for book lovers. I spent some time browsing through the books, feeling inspired by the stories waiting to be discovered.

After soaking in the atmosphere at the library, we headed to Gangnam. Yes, the same Gangnam you’ve heard about in the song! It’s bustling with life, and the shops are simply incredible. I loved wandering through the streets, taking in the sights and sounds.

Finally, we ended our day around Sinsa-dong. This area is famous for its trendy boutiques and vibrant nightlife. Even though it was raining, the charm of Sinsa-dong shone through. We found a cozy café to warm up and reflect on our day.

Embracing the Rain

It rained throughout the day, but that didn’t dampen our spirits. In fact, there’s something magical about exploring a city in the rain. The streets glisten, and the atmosphere feels fresh and alive. We spent most of our time indoors, but that just gave us a chance to discover some hidden gems.
