Anfu Road Shanghai (安福路): Trendy Shops, Cafés & Wiggle Wiggle

If you're already visiting Wukang Road (武康路), I definitely recommend continuing your walk towards Anfu Road (安福路).
We came here directly from Wukang Road, and the atmosphere changes pretty quickly.
Anfu Road feels much more young, trendy and fashion-focused, with cafés, lifestyle stores, boutiques and plenty of people just walking around and hanging out.
It's one of those streets that doesn't need a huge attraction.
You come here because the whole area is fun to explore.
What Is Anfu Road Like?
Compared with Wukang Road, which feels more historic and architectural, Anfu Road feels more modern.
You'll find:
Fashion boutiques
Lifestyle stores
Cafés
Restaurants
Design shops
Young local crowds
It's a nice continuation if you're already doing a Shanghai citywalk around the former French Concession area.
Stop at Wiggle Wiggle
One place you should definitely stop by is Wiggle Wiggle.
This shop is ridiculously cute. 😂
It's full of colourful lifestyle products, accessories, homeware and gifts, and the whole store feels very playful.
The best part for me was their bear mascot.
If you like cute character stores or just want somewhere fun to browse for a while, definitely go inside.
Even if you're not planning to buy anything, the shop itself is worth seeing.
Anfu Road Is Great for a Shanghai Citywalk
What I like about this part of Shanghai is that you don't really need a strict itinerary.
You can simply walk.
Our route was:
Wukang Road 武康路
↓
Anfu Road 安福路
↓
Wulumuqi Middle Road 乌鲁木齐中路
Each street has a slightly different personality, but they're close enough that the whole route feels natural.
That’s why I’d recommend exploring this area on foot instead of taking a car between every stop.
How Long Should You Spend at Anfu Road?
Around 1–2 hours is enough for most people.
Longer if you want to stop for coffee, shop properly or take lots of photos.
There isn't one attraction you need to rush towards.
The whole street is the experience.
Is Anfu Road Worth Visiting?
Yes — especially if you like:
fashion
cafés
shopping
design
and younger neighbourhoods.
If you're already at Wukang Road, I wouldn't skip it.
Just continue walking and let the citywalk naturally take you into Anfu Road.
