Our last day in Shanghai calls for a citywalk. If you love citywalks you need to check this itinerary out. We checked out of the hotel, but left our luggage at the front desk so we could squeeze one more full day into the city before heading to the airport later that night. No room, no rush—just vibes and a pair of good walking shoes.

Our flight was at 6AM the next day, and since we had to be at Pudong Airport by 3AM, the plan was simple: explore till night, then head straight to the airport before the metro closed and sleep there.

Wukang Road – Shanghai’s Most Photogenic Street

We started at Wukang Road, home to the iconic Wukang Building. If you’ve seen it on Instagram, you already know—this is a must-snap landmark. Clean architecture, vintage charm, and the kind of city calm you rarely find in megacities.

For brunch, we stopped by Han Xiang Noodle House, a popular local spot. We tried the Golden Crab Noodles and Chicken Chop Noodles — both were seriously good. Rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth the hype.

Anfu Road & Huai Hai Road – Aesthetic Walks + Shopping Therapy

After fueling up, we continued walking from Wukang Road → Anfu Road. This stretch is famous for its boutique shops, cozy cafés, and well-dressed locals—it almost feels like Shanghai’s answer to Brooklyn meets Seoul.

We made a stop at MANNER Coffee, one of Shanghai’s coolest chains. Great coffee, minimalist interiors, and a chill pause in our citywalk.

Then it was time for a shopping detour:

  • WIGGLE WIGGLE – Cute, quirky, colorful.

  • GENTLE MONSTER – Futuristic eyewear with an art gallery twist.

  • MASONPRINCE – Streetwear meets underground youth culture.

If you love fashion and cool design, Huai Hai Road is your spot.

Back to Where It All Started

Funny moment—we forgot to film a transition shot at Wukang Building, so yes, we doubled back just for that clip 😅.

Then we took the metro back to Nanjing Pedestrian Road for one last look at the lights. At exactly 6:00PM, the entire street lights up—it’s beautiful. (Note: time may vary depending on the season, so check ahead if you’re planning your shot.)

Final Hours in Shanghai (End of Citywalk)

With our hearts full (and phones full of photos), we picked up our luggage and took the metro to Pudong Airport before it closed for the night.

Thanks for following our Shanghai trip!
