Why Visit The North Bund?
While The Bund (外滩) is world-famous, The North Bund (北外滩) is its modern counterpart just across the Huangpu River. It offers a panoramic skyline view of Lujiazui’s “Three Pieces (三件套)” and the historic Bund waterfront — but with fewer crowds and a more relaxed vibe.
We loved it for the open riverside promenades, fresh air, and unobstructed photo spots. It feels like the city’s secret viewpoint.
